[Wenshan Pouchong Tea]
Also known as green tea, Wenshan Bagged Tea is of lower fermentation degree even
for green tea. It is produced in Wenshan and Pinglin in northern Taiwan, at low
altitude. Its name "Baozhong tea (bagged tea)" comes from its previous package
of
square
paper
bags.
The flavor differs depending on its harvest time, processing time, temperature,
humidity
and other conditions. It is also a kind of elegant tea.
Since the tea is not rubbed and naturally curved, when boiled water is added,
the green tea turns light yellow. Due to slight fermentation, it leaves a strong
fragrance, as fresh as orchids. It tastes fresh like green tea, with a little
bit of sweetness afterwards. Best for refreshment. Serve it with boiled water
near 85 degrees.
